MEN'S MINISTRY (N.F.L. - NEED FOR LEADERSHIP) The NFL Ministry is designed to equip men with the necessary tools to be examples of godly men in the home, church, community, and workplace. "Whatever you do, work at It with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an Inheritance from, the Lord as a reward, it Is the Lord Christ you are serving" (Colossians 3:23-24)
WOMEN'S MINISTRY (W.N.B.A - WOMEN OF NEW BEGINNINGS ALIVE & AFIRE)The WNBA Ministry encourages, equips, and empowers women to become mature followers of Jesus Christ." I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:14).
YOUTH MINISTRY(D-SHACKLED) Our mission is to show young people how to know God personally and to go out and make him known to others. "But the Lord said to me, Do not say I am only a child. You must go to everyone I send you and say whatever I command you". (Jeremiah 1:7)
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY The purpose of the Children's Ministry is to ensure children aged 6-11 years old, are loved, valued, and nurtured in their personal faith as they become committed followers of Jesus Christ, our goal is to provide the best possible care, comfort, guidance, and instruction from the Bible for children, parents, and teacher. The children’s ministry is available to serve the needs of families and their children during Sunday morning worship service (2nd and 4th Sundays and during regular Wednesday night bible study. "Be imitations of God, therefore as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God" (Ephesians 5:1-2)
NURSERY MINISTRY The Nursery Ministry strives to enhance a family's time of worship and study at NBCF by providing a safe, clean and loving environment for children ages one month to five-years old. Our ultimate goal is that each child would feel God's love and be nurtured in his Word so that they will grow into disciples for Christ. The nursery is available to serve the needs of families and their children during Sunday morning worship service and during regular Wednesday night bible study. "Permit the children to come to Me; do not hinder them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these" (Mark 10:14)
COUPLES MINISTRY Our mission is to create an environment and fellowship for couples so they may grow in the depths of their love and relationship with the Lord. We also want to positively impact our church, community and beyond by showing the love of Jesus and using Godly principles to edify those that are around us.
SINGLES MINISTRY Singles Ministry is designed to assist in the spiritual growth of those who are single, single again, widowed, while providing a spiritual social life together. This ministry provides a Christ-centered, grace-based fellowship where single adults of all ages can easily get involved in an atmosphere of acceptance, love and respect. A place where each person can feel they are a valuable and active member of the family of God.
Singles And Living True (S.A.L.T.) (ages 25 - 35) Young Adult Singles Ministry that is a welcoming, nurturing community that encourages Christ-centered growth, service and celebration. Together we are:
Growing personally and spiritually
Sharing God's gifts through service
Interconnecting with the larger church
Celebrating life with others in God's eyes
Singles With A Testimony (S.W.A.T.) (ages 36 and up) A team of Christians existing to equip mature singles to discover and fulfill God's higher calling in their lives. A ministry that leads single adults to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ by offering them support, opportunities for Christian fellowship and empowerment to reach out to others.
INVITATIONAL COUNSELING UNIT (I.C.U.) This ministry is equipped with trained servants who arrange pre-membership orientation classes, lead individuals to Christ, and provide assistance in praying with individuals concerning specific needs.
EVANGELISM MINISTRY "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matt. 28:19). The Evangelism ministry's chief concern is carrying out the Great Commission Christ gave to His disciples and the church. We propose to do this by the leading of the Holy Spirit and the use of innovative methods to reach this generation with the message of salvation.
HELPING HANDS MINISTRY (H.H.M.) True faith is more than just claiming to have faith. Genuine love for God will be expressed through service to others (1 John 3:16-18)-not to earn salvation, but because a heart that truly loves God will be filled with compassion for people. Jesus sets the pace for his followers in the illustration found in Matt.25: 35-40. This ministry is committed to helping people who are in need of food, clothing or have other unforeseen needs.
The ushers & greeters ministry is responsible to ensure that every person entering the church is greeted and that visitors are offered assistance as appropriate so that everyone feels important and welcome.
AUDIOVISUAL MINISTRY The audiovisual ministry is responsible for adjusting and maintaining the sound system to ensure a clear and comfortable sound level within the church facilities; and, recording messages presented during regular church worship services and occasional special services.
MEDIA MINISTRY The tape ministry is responsible for providing duplicate audiocassette tapes, which provides recordings for people who are unable to attend services or who desire to share messages with others.
ALTAR MINISTRY The Altar Ministry is responsible for preparing for the Holy Ordinances of the church including Baptism and the Lord's Supper/Holy Communion.
MEDICAL MINISTRY Providing as needed swift medical assessments, first aide, and notification and activation of 911 and/or emergency treatment when warranted. To ensure a safe environment for prevention of injuries as a result of accidents, and thereby necessitating medical care. With the goal of providing safe care through Christian hands, an informative medical presence, and continued to service to our church community so that it is desirable in the eyes or our Lord.
PASTORAL SUPPORT SECURITY TEAM(P.S.S.T.) The Pastoral Support Security Team is primarily designed for the security and safety of the entire church, as well as assisting the First Family. Creating an atmosphere where members may worship freel in an enviornemnt that is both safe and secure.
